Mommy Mommy!

I was so excited yesterday when Zoe ran around all morning saying "Mommy, Mommy!" in plain english. I had to call Dave and tell him all about it, then I went over to Grandma Edith's and bragged to her about it. Well, this morning when Zoe got up I turned on the t.v. and Handy Manny was on. "Mommy Mommy!" Zoe said as she was pointing to Manny on the t.v. She wasn't referring to me, I guess in Zoe language "Mommy Mommy" means "Handy Manny". :(

Zoe and Santa

So last night we decided to take Zoe to the Bass Pro Shop to see Santa with Grandma and Grandpa Levesque . She was a little restless in the line so Grandma held our spot for us while Zoe tried out the Arctic Cat.:) (thanks grandma!) When it was her turn I took Zoe up to Santa, she was really holding on tight at first and then to my surprise, she actually sat on Santa's lap without crying! She at least held still long enough to get a picture, Yay! She didn't tell Santa what she wanted so he said he would bring her a "surprise". (I know she doesn't look very happy in this picture but we'll take it! :) )

Christmas Tree

Yay!! We finally put up a tree this year. I had to go buy plastic ornaments because I knew Zoe wouldn't be able to resist the shiny, sparkly, red balls. So as soon as we had it decorated, Zoe walked up, pulled off the shiny red ornament, licked it, then looked up at me and said, "Mmmm!" I guess it must taste really good because she has managed to clear off the entire bottom of the tree! :)
