Happy 3rd Birthday Zoe!!

I can't believe my lil' ZoZo is 3!! It seems like she was just born!
We had her birthday party early this year on the 2nd because we are heading to Disneyland on Sunday! Her party was so fun and all of her cousins came. She decided she wanted a GoGo's Crazybones cake and Car's party bags and cups. ( I couldn't talk her in to the cute Tinkerbell stuff ;)
We had pizza then opened presents. The first present she opened was her favorite. It was a Sharkbite Bay Hot Wheels Race Track from Daddy. She was so cute opening her presents, she kept saying "It's a............" before opening them. All the kids were really excited to get gogo's in their party bags! It was a great Birthday and it was really fun to have all the family together! Happy Birthday Zoe! We love you!

Ghost Light

Ever since we went on vacation in July (yes, 6 months ago) Zoe had been sleeping in our bed. Now, don't get me wrong, I love my little munchkin but waking up with feet in my back is not my idea of a good nights sleep! I tried every night to put her in her bed but then she would just come in our room saying "mommy's bed? Finally we had enough and I searched online for how people got their toddlers to sleep in their own rooms and one of the suggestions was the Tyke Light. It's a night light that they can take to bed with them and it changes different colors. So I went to Babiesrus and found one. I was a little hesitant because of the $20 price tag but figured if it worked it was WELL worth it! So that night at bed time I told her she could sleep with it but it had to stay in her room.....IT WORKED!!! She has been sleeping in her own room for almost a month now and doesn't even argue about going to bed! She calls it her "ghost light" and snuggles up with it every night. Best $20 I ever spent!

Christmas 2009

Our Christmas started on Tuesday when we celebrated early at Dave's parents house. It was so much fun and we all got really great gifts! Madeleine was so cute and picked out presents all by herself for everyone. She got me a Rose Quartz rock and she said it represents "love". She also got Dave a skull necklace. So adorable! Zoe had lot's of fun with her cousins and she loved the bicycle helmet she got so much that she kept it on the whole time we were opening presents.

On Christmas Eve we decided to make cookies for Santa. Zoe was so excited to play in the flour. I let her loose with it and turned around and she was making "snow angels" in it. She was covered from head to toe in flour!

On Christmas morning we woke Zoe up at 8:00 a.m. Dave said, "Zoe! Look what Santa brought!" For some reason Zoe is not too fond of "Santa" so she kept saying "NO! NO!" She quickly got over it when she opened her first present and it was the Handy Manny Talking Tool Box. She had so many presents that we had to pretty much open the last ones for her. I guess she was a good girl this year! After we opened presents we went to my parents house and found out that Cede was engaged!! She was smiling from ear to ear and so excited and I'm so happy for her and Mark!

My mom made a delicious breakfast then we opened presents again and got more great stuff! Zoe got a leap frog Lilly doll and when she opened it she said "Wow! Lilly! My Favorite!" It was so cute! So we had a really good Christmas and I'm so thankful that we could spend it with our families!

Christmas Carnival

Every year they have a Christmas Carnival for SRP employees and their families. My nephews went last year and had so much fun so I was excited to take Zoe this year. I didn't know it was an actual "Carnival" with rides and everything! They even had fake snow for the kids to play in. We decided to wait until the end for the snow which was a good thing because Zoe was soaked and freezing! By the end of the day we had gone in the Fun House, the Bee ride, the Dragon Roller Coaster (the scariest and of course her favorite), the Ferris Wheel, and the Choo Choo train. Zoe had a blast!

Zoe's First Haircut

On Friday I took Zoe to get her first "professional" haircut from Michele. To my surprise, she was SOOO excited to be there and she couldn't wait to sit in the chair. So, she climbed up and then started to freak out and wanted to sit in a different chair. I needed my bangs trimmed so I decided to go first to show her it was fine. So after I was done she hopped up in the chair again. She was fine until Michele started to button the cape around her neck and she started crying. Michele told her it was a "princess cape" and gave her some candy and that seemed to do the trick. She was so adorable after that and sat pretty still as she watched herself in the mirror, occupied with her candy. She kept saying "princess cape" over and over. When we were done she hopped down and said "Thanks Michewl". So cute.

Thanksgiving 2009

On Thanksgiving we went to the Zoo with Grandpa, Matt, Madeleine, and Juliette. It was Zoe's first time to the Zoo so I decided to break the Levesque tradition (guys take the kids to the Zoo while girls stay home and get ready for Thanksgiving dinner) and tag along so I could see Zoe's reaction to all the animals! She was so excited, she just kept saying "ride it? ride it?" She really wanted to see the "farm" with cows and chickens so we went to the petting zoo first while we were waiting for Madeleine and Juliette.
After the zoo we went to Grandma and Grandpa Levesque's for Thanksgiving dinner. It was delicious, but Zoe wouldn't even touch it!!

"I'm a robot"

Okay, so I'm really really really bad at blogging. My new years resolution is to update this blog at least once a week so I'm starting early. :) Zoe is doing and saying the funniest and cutest things lately and I don't want to forget them! So, the other day she was wearing this bag on her head and kept saying "I am a robot". We were leaving to go to the mall and she insisted on wearing it out to the car. The mom's across the street at the park just kept looking over at us like I was crazy! She kept it on the entire way to Chandler Mall (over 20 minutes). She wanted to wear it in the mall but I had to draw the line! (Although it would have been hilarious to see peoples faces!)
